Correct versions:
What’s the weather like out there?
How’s the weather out there?
Appropriate responses:
It’s a beautiful/sunny day.
It’s hot outside.
It’s chilly/windy/humid today.
I guess there will be a downpour.

2. 花左D時間去做… spend time to do… (wrong)

Correct version:
Spend time doing something
E.g. I have spent a day writing up my assignment.
E.g. Teenagers nowadays spend a long time surfing the Internet.
Spend time/money on something
E.g. I spent two hours on this question.
E.g. I spent about 20000 dollars on my trip to Russia.

3. 你依家好忙呀? Are you busy? (wrong)

Correct version:
Are you busy right now?
Are you in the middle of something?
Euphemistic version of “I’m busy right now”:
Q: Are you coming to the party?
A: No. I’m busy right now.
I’m in the middle of something crazy.

4. 碌爆卡 My credit card has exceeded the credit limit. (wrong)

Correct version:
I have exceeded the credit limit of my credit card.
Alternative: max out (phr. v.)
I just maxed out my credit card the last time I used it.

5. 件夾克好襯你. The jacket matches you. (wrong)

Correct versions:
The jacket suits you. (“fit” is for size)
You look good wearing the jacket/in the jacket.
Important points:
“Match” is used for things coming from the same category
E.g. Blue doesn’t match (v.) green.
E.g. These two pieces of furniture don’t match (v.) well.
E.g. Danny and Gloria strike a perfect match (n.)!
